iNEW DELHI: Japanese smartphone maker Sony has launched the latest phone in Xperia Ace series of smartphones in Japan. The company has launched the Sony Xperia Ace II, which is the successor of the last year launched Xperia Ace smartphone.
Same as its predecessor the smartphone comes with a compact form factor and sports a full HD+ display. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor and runs Android 11 operating system.
It comes with IPX5 and IPX8 ratings which makes it dust and water-resistant. The company has priced the Sony Ace II at 22,000 yen (Rs 14,800) and it comes in Black, White and Blue colour options. The company has not yet announced the availability details of the smartphone.
Sony Xperia Ace II specifications
Sony Xperia Ace II comes with a 5.5-inch HD+ display with 720x1496 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 6 on top. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor.
Sony Xperia Ace II packs 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Users can further expand the storage up to 512GB by adding a microSD card. The smartphone runs Android 11 and comes with dual SIM support.
Sony Xperia Ace II sports a dual rear camera setup with 13MP main sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to an 8MP selfie shooter.
The handset comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by 4500mAh battery with fast charging support.
